Pack of Misfits

The tale of a misfit and his evolving pack of dogs.

I missed Brando in my last photoset. He was my first foster, and consequent foster failure (I adopted him).

kittiethepop asked: Your blog is such an inspiration. I'm striving towards working with rescue animals as well, and it's really comforting to know that there are still good creatures in the world. I wish nothing but positive vibes for your fur family. Love and light.

Thank you very much, that means a hell of a lot to me.  They keep me pretty busy, as does the rest of my life, so I’m not able to be on here as much as I would like.

I would definitely encourage you to pursue assisting animal rescue with whatever resources you have available.  No act is too small and it means the world to that animal.  It also is an amazing feeling to make such a difference.

Its finally spring in Michigan! That means (hopefully) I’ll be more active on here.

The two white pits and the blue pit are all available for adoption in the Metro Detroit area. Carly is the pretty, slender female; Dexter is the handsome muscular male; and Frank Sinatra is the blue gentleman.

katecolleen asked: New to your blog and don't have a question - just a thank you. It brought tears to my eyes to see how loved and cared for these dogs are. Thank you, from one misfit/mutt lover to another.

Thank you very much, that means a lot to me. Aside from helping dogs, I would hope my work is an inspiration to others, to be the change they want to see in the world. No act is too small to be worthwhile. Even the slightest of actions add up to do great things, and who knows who you will inspire along the way.

Sorry to all of my awesome followers; caring for my wolfpack of seven isn’t leaving a whole of time for social media. But hopefully I can share some more photos with y’all in the near future here. Please adopt, don’t shop. I’m caring for three beautiful fosters currently, who are available for adoption through www.homefurever.com.

Some of the Misfits having fun. Connor, the brindle pup is a 6 month old Dutch Shepherd mix who’s life was saved by www.homefurever.com. I’m fostering him until he finds his forever home. He’s adoptable in the Metro Detroit area. The two Dobermans are the original Misfits.

These two beautiful pitties are adoptable in the Metro Detroit area through www.homefurever.com. The handsome male in the red collar is named Dexter, and he is a sweet boy.  The female with the bat ears is Carly, a high energy and even higher affection darling of a dog.
